Charlotte overbust corset is based on a pattern from 1901. Charlotte is composed of 6 panels plus 2 hip panels, strengthened with spiral steel and flat boning and a non­-stretch twill  tape added to the waist to prevent stretching.
Charlotte can be made as a single layer corset or can be made with an inner lining of strong cotton twill or herringbone fabric and faced with a suitable material of your own choice.
The flossing and embroidery are optional as well as lace.
